Some have already seized this opportunity, while others still struggle to recognize its value. This is not a criticism, but a fact that deserves attention.  <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the Ismea Report on Wine Tourism in Italy, 64.5% of tourists in Italy have chosen to enjoy a wine tourism experience in the last three years<\/span>\u00b9. A figure, therefore, not to be underestimated. <\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What is often considered a marginal activity in Italy can, however, be<\/span><b> a distinctive and strategic choice in building direct relationships with customers, with a more practical focus on shaping the winery\u2019s identity.<\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c154a05 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"c154a05\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">A steadily growing sector\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c74a4b6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c74a4b6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wine tourism is a sector that generated nearly<\/span><b> 3 billion euros <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in Italy in 2024<\/span>\u00b2, marking a pivotal moment for the post-Covid consolidation of the reference market. One-third of the economic growth in this market was driven by <b>foreign wine tourists\u2014an audience that must be protected and expanded<\/b>. The main markets, according to the study conducted by the Direct From Italy Observatory, are undoubtedly Germany, the United States, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and France\u00b3. In Italy, there are not many hospitality models comparable to the French ones, which focus on the quality of the experience offered. French wineries have been able to seize the opportunity, transforming the brand into an experience driver, where wine is just one element of a narrative that involves landscape, history, art, and gastronomy.  <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The foreign wine tourist seeks pleasure, experience, and knowledge. France knows this, and sells it very well. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fad3166 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"fad3166\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Some key elements\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-24dc483 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"24dc483\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A cornerstone of the sector in France is the<\/span><b> hospitality manager<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a figure with specific academic training. In fact, France has launched numerous  <\/span><b>university courses and master&#8217;s programs dedicated to wine tourism<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: among the most well-known are those at the University of Bordeaux\u2076 and Dijon\u2077.
